Haunted Places in Lancashire

There are plenty of locations to visit in Lancashire if ghosts are your pastime. Chingle Hall in Goosnargh is said to be the most haunted place in England. It was built in 1260 and has passed through many families since that time. From owners being hanged and heads being lost, to murders, this is a great place to visit.

There are haunted Hotels, Pubs and Theatres to name a few more places, from Lancaster to Rufford, Salford and Bolton, the visitor to Lancashire will never be short of supernatural places to see what they can ‘see’.

Of course there are also the tales of the Witches of Pendle Hill and all the mystery surrounding them. A visit to Lancaster Castle may be on your agenda, where you will see many of the items used to try to see if the woman was a witch or not.
